Saint Paul is the capital and second most populous city of the state of Minnesota, United States. It is also the seat of Ramsey County, the smallest and most densely populated in Minnesota.
The population of the city in the 2010 census was 285,068. Regionally, the city is known for the Xcel Energy Center, home of the Minnesota Wild and the Minnesota Science Museum. Saint Paul, along with Minneapolis, is known for its high literacy rate.
